POTOMAC, Md. (WUSA) -- An armored car was robbed Wednesday morning outside a credit union in Potomac and authorities are looking for two suspects.
The robbery happened at approximately 11:22 a.m. at 12248 Rockville Pike at a Navy Federal Credit Union, according to Montgomery County Police. The armored car, police said, then drove to its next stop, a Harris Teeter on Potomac Avenue where the guards contacted police.
Authorities are looking for two black males. One male was armed with a handgun. He obtained money before they fled.
Police conducted interviews with the armored car guards and witnesses.
