WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- The Washington Animal Rescue League has a new Pet of the Week that they have shared with us. Meet Tetley!

WARL writes:

"Tetley is a darling 4-year-old Shih tzu mix who was rescued from the streets of DC by a Good Samaritan. This poor little boy weighed only 15 pounds when he arrived at the Washington Animal Rescue League...and a full pound of that was the horribly matted fur that had to be shaved off his body. Today, thanks to regular meals and lots of TLC, Tetley has gained not only weight but self-confidence, and is enjoying the attention of staff and volunteers while he waits for a forever home. And we don't think it will take long since even non-tea-drinkers love this little guy."
