WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The SPCA/Humane Society Of Prince George's County Maryland brought Morty on our Petline 9 segment Thursday at noon.
Morty is a seven-year-old, black Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever Mix who weighs 60 pounds. He's already neutered, house trained, and up to date with shots.
Morty's fosterer has taught him down, stay, wait, shake, touch, leave it, drop it, and...his first dance move: going through legs! He's also a sweet, soulful guy who likes to snuggle up close to his favorite human(s) at the end of a long day.
Morty has learned the joys of chasing squeaky toys, and he has the unusual, highly desirable trait of not minding baths.
Morty may be best as an only dog, as he doesn't seem to know how to relate to other dogs (though he will tolerate them at a distance). He is not good with cats. Morty may be fine with children over 12 years old.
If you are interested in Morty, consider letting the SPCA know by filling out an adoption application at http://www.pgspca.org/applications.
