WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Washington Animal Rescue League has a new Pet of the Week named Flint.
Poor Flint! This wonderful 8-month-old Lab mix who arrived from Mississippi two months ago keeps getting overlooked by prospective adopters. And, sadly, it has absolutely nothing to do with his personality; he's a friendly, playful, happy-go-lucky boy who likes people and other dogs. Like many dogs, however, Flint has an orthopedic condition called a luxating patella—think overly mobile kneecap—and will require corrective surgery once he's fully grown. While not insignificant, financially, the return on the investment will be many years of mutually joyful companionship.
Don't let Flint continue to be passed over; stop by the Washington Animal Rescue League and give him the home he yearns for soon!
