Washington Redskins prepare for prime time

ASHBURN, VA - After their win over the Los Angeles Rams last week, the Washington Redskins are getting ready for another California team, this time at home and under the lights.

Washington will play the Oakland Raiders in Sunday Night Football at FedEx Field. A win against Oakland would make Washington 18-17-1 all-time on SNF since the broadcast began in 1987.

Winning won't be easy against a Jack Del Rio coached Raiders team featuring quarterback Derek Carr and un-retired running back Marshawn Lynch, who's carried the biggest load for Oakland's running backs.

Washington linebacker Zach Brown told WUSA9 Sports Anchor Darren Haynes the team will shut down the run game. Those may be fighting words...unless the Burgundy and Gold pull it off and then it's prophesy.
