Bogota, Colombia (Sports Network) - Jelena Jankovic rallied for a three-set
win over Karin Knapp in the semifinals of the Copa Claro Colsanitas tennis
event and will meet Argentina's Paula Ormaechea for the crown.
Ormaechea reached her first career WTA final with a 7-6 (7-5), 6-3 victory
over unknown Brazilian Teliana Pereira in Saturday's first semifinal before
the top-seeded Jankovic claimed a 3-6, 6-1, 7-6 (7-2) triumph over Knapp.
Jankovic is 12-16 lifetime in WTA finals, including 0-2 last year. The former
world No. 1 hasn't won a tournament since the spring of 2010 at Indian Wells.
Sunday's winner will collect a first prize of $40,000.
