BALTIMORE (AP) -- Felix Pie became the fourth player in the history of the Baltimore Orioles to hit for the cycle.

Batting eighth against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday night, Pie doubled in the first inning, homered in the third, then rounded out the feat in a seven-run seventh. He opened the inning by beating out an infield single, the hit a triple to drive in a run.

The four hits are a career high for Pie, who came into the game batting .234.

The last Oriole to hit for the cycle was Aubrey Huff on June 29, 2007, also against the Angels. The only other Orioles to hit for the cycle were Brooks Robinson and Cal Ripken Jr.

He is the second player this week to hit for the cycle. Colorado's Troy Tulowitzki did it Monday against the Chicago Cubs.
