Some NFL playoff berths can be locked up today

WASHINGTON (AP) - UNDATED (AP) — As many as five NFL playoff berths can be locked up today. The Eagles, Rams, Jaguars, Vikings and Steelers all have ways of clinching postseason berths. So do the Patriots, who visit Miami on Monday night.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — One terrific match-up in the NFL has Philadelphia at the Los Angeles Rams. The Eagles top the NFC east at 10-2. The Rams top the NFC West at 9-3.

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Sunday night football is a battle in the AFC North with Baltimore at Pittsburgh. The Steelers are 10-2 while the Ravens sport a 7-5 mark.

NEW YORK (AP) — The Heisman Trophy goes to Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield. He's the first senior to win the award since 2006.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — The St. Louis Blues have placed forward Jaden Schwartz on injured reserve with a right ankle injury, and he will re-evaluated in six weeks. Schwartz was injured during the Blues' 6-1 win in Detroit yesterday.
