Mayor announces deal funding $300M DC United stadium completed

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Plans for a soccer stadium in Washington, D.C. are moving forward.

Friday, Mayor Vincent Gray submitted legislation outlining his plans to build the soccer-only facility for D.C. United..

The stadium will be located a few blocks from Nationals park. The project will cost $300 million, including $150 million for land acquisition in Southwest Washington.
