Foxborough, MA (Sports Network) - The New England Revolution acquired the
first overall pick in Thursday's MLS SuperDraft, sending the fourth overall
pick and allocation money to Toronto FC in exchange for the top selection.
The Revs will make the very first selection in Thursday's draft, marking the
club's highest-ever draft pick in the 18-year history of the franchise. New
England had the second overall pick in the 2002 draft, which it used to select
the club's all-time leading scorer, Taylor Twellman.
