MLS fines Quakes' Hernandez, Revs' Feilhaber

New York, NY (Sports Network) - San Jose Earthquakes defender Jason Hernandez and New England Revolution midfielder Benny Feilhaber were fined undisclosed amounts by MLS after receiving red cards Oct. 6.

Hernandez was fined for "failing to leave the field in an orderly manner" in a match against the Colorado Rapids after he received a red card. The additional fine is added to an automatic one-game suspension and fine for the red card.

Feilhaber was fined for "verbal and profane abuse of the official" after a red card against the Philadelphia Union. He also received an automatic one-match ban and a fine for the red card.

MLS also fined the Montreal Impact an undisclosed amount for "unprofessional conduct of team staff on the sidelines" in a match against the Houston Dynamo on Oct. 6.
