Carson, CA (Sports Network) - Chivas USA acquired defender Bobby Burling from
the Montreal Impact on Friday in exchange for an international roster slot for
the 2013 season.
The 27-year-old Burling has spent six seasons in MLS, starting his career with
Chivas USA. He was originally drafted by the Los Angeles Galaxy in 2007, then
joined Chivas and played with the club from 2007-09.
Burling played for the San Jose Earthquakes from 2009-11, and was selected in
the MLS Expansion draft by Montreal. He did not play for the Impact.
Per league and team policy, details of the contract were not revealed.
