WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - The iPhone turned 10 this year, but it's not the only anniversary celebration going on.
The Quicken Loans National debuted as the AT-T National 10 years ago.
Think about where you were when Beyonce's Irreplaceable topped the charts, The Departed won the Oscar and everybody was enjoying the first season of Mad Men on TV.
KJ Choi won the tournament Tiger Woods brought to the D.C. region that year.
He was there again this year, hoping to claim the prize.
Defending Champ Billy Hurley, the only veteran on the PGA tour had to do some strong recall to remember where he was in 2007.
And Brian O'Donnell of Darnstown can't forget what he was doing 10 years ago.
"He was about a month old, so we were adjusting to a new baby," he said. "I might have been at this tournament. I’'ve come almost every year since it started."
Michael O'Donnell is a 10-year-old golf fan.
"I love it a lot. It's amazing. It's my first tournament," he said.
In his young ten years, Michael had to think about what's the best thing he's done in his life.
"Probably this, is one of the best coming to this," he said.
And where was WUSA9's Diane Roberts ten years ago? Covering the same tournament. Tiger Woods brought it here and it remains a legacy of taking care of and benefiting veterans.
