Newark, NJ (Sports Network) - Adam Henrique posted two goals and an assist as
the New Jersey Devils took a 5-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers in the front
end of a home-and-home set on Wednesday.
Andrei Loktionov and Patrik Elias each posted a goal and an assist for the
Devils, who have won three of their last four. Ilya Kovalchuk had the other
goal while Johan Hedberg made 23 saves.
Jakub Voracek and Scott Hartnell scored for the Flyers, who were coming off a
win against Buffalo on Sunday but fell for the fourth time in the past five
games. Ilya Bryzgalov was tagged for all five goals on 32 shots.
These two teams will meet in Philadelphia on Friday.
