Montreal, QC (Sports Network) - Lars Eller scored the winner in the shootout
as the Montreal Canadiens edged the Toronto Maple Leafs, 4-3, on Wednesday.
In the third round, Eller faked to the backhand before snapping in a forehand
past Robin Lehner and Carey Price upheld the win by stopping Kyle Turris'
wrister.
P.K. Subban had a goal and an assist while Brendan Gallagher and Eller also
scored for the Canadiens, who have won four straight. Price finished the game
with 29 saves.
Daniel Alfredsson, Patrick Wiercioch and Mika Zibanejad all scored for the
Senators, who have lost six of their last seven. Lehner stopped 42 shots in
defeat.
