Canucks re-sign Volpatti

Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) - The Vancouver Canucks re-signed forward Aaron Volpatti to a one-year contract on Friday.

The 27-year-old winger totaled one goal and 37 penalty minutes over 23 games with the Canucks last season.

Over 38 NHL appearances in the last two years, the British Columbia native has two goals and three points with 53 PIM.
