Oakland, CA (Sports Network) - The Oakland Raiders activated linebacker Aaron
Curry from the physically unable to perform list on Tuesday.
Curry, the No. 4 overall pick by Seattle in the 2009 draft, had been sidelined
for all of training camp and the preseason with recurring knee problems before
being placed on the PUP list before the start of the season.
The 26-year-old was acquired by the Raiders from the Seahawks last October in
exchange for a 2012 seventh-round pick and a conditional 2013 draft choice and
started nine games following the trade, recording 46 tackles and three passes
defensed.
To make room for Curry on the active roster, Oakland waived linebacker Vic
So'oto.
