Irving, TX (Sports Network) - Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant was
arrested on a Class A family violence charge on Monday, according to WFAA-TV
in Dallas.
City officials reportedly indicated records relating to the arrest will not be
released until Tuesday.
KDFW-TV in Dallas reported that a female family member had been assaulted and
that Bryant turned himself in to police and posted bond on Monday.
Police have said the victim did not require hospitalization.
Bryant confirmed to WFAA that there had been an incident, but declined to go
into further detail.
The 23-year-old caught 63 balls for 928 yards and nine touchdowns with the
Cowboys last season.
