Lake Forest, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Bears have signed defensive
tackle Nate Collins to a one-year contract. Terms of the deal were not
disclosed.
The 6-2, 296-pound lineman has played in 13 games over the past two seasons
with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New York Giants, who signed him as an
undrafted free agent from Virginia in 2010.
Last season, Collins played in 12 games and recorded 10 tackles, 1/2 sacks and
a fumble recovery.
With the signing, the Bears roster stands at 90 players.
