Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - The Minnesota Twins activated center fielder Denard Span off the 15-day disabled list prior to Wednesday's game against the Kansas City Royals.

Span, who was placed on the DL on Aug. 30 with a right sternoclavicular joint strain, hit .286 with 32 doubles, three home runs, 35 RBI and 60 runs scored through 108 games for the Twins this season.
