Yankees activate Nova

Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - The New York Yankees activated pitcher Ivan Nova from the 15-day disabled list on Saturday.

Nova had been sidelined since Aug. 21 with inflammation in his right rotator cuff. He will spend the weekend in the Yankees' bullpen.

The right-hander is 11-7 with a 4.92 ERA in 25 starts this season.
