New York, NY (Sports Network) - Chicago Cubs catcher Steve Clevenger was
issued a one-game suspension and fined an undisclosed amount on Saturday.
Clevenger was disciplined for his aggressive actions and fighting during a
bench-clearing incident in the bottom of the sixth inning of Thursday's game
against the Washington Nationals.
Chicago right-hander Lendy Castillo incited the scuffle by throwing behind
Bryce Harper with his first pitch of the inning.
