Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - The Seattle Mariners have selected the contract
of pitcher Stephen Pryor from Triple-A Tacoma.
Pryor had nine saves and a 0.64 ERA in 21 relief appearances combined between
Tacoma and Double-A Jackson this year. He has not allowed an earned run in his
last 27 innings.
The 22-year-old Pryor will make his MLB debut when he appears in a game for
Seattle.
The Mariners also transferred pitcher George Sherrill to the 60-day disabled
