Redskins TE Reed diagnosed with concussion

ASHBURN, VA. (AP) - Washington Redskins coach Jay Gruden said on Thursday that tight end Jordan Reed has been diagnosed with a concussion

Reed missed his second straight practice on Thursday.

This marks the sixth diagnosed concussion in Reed's professional and college career.

Gruden said Reed must be cleared from the NFL's concussion protocol before returning to practice or play in Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
