ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - This offseason is a bit more tranquil for Robert Griffin III.
Sure, the Washington Redskins quarterback buddied up with Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey after practice Wednesday and remains the face of the franchise, but there's no drama over his knee injury or his relationship with coach Mike Shanahan.
The RG3 of 2014 still loves his slogans: "The Movement" and "Win everything, win every day" are his current chart-toppers.
But the knee brace is gone, and so is Shanahan. All is calm under new coach Jay Gruden, at least for now.
Says Griffin: "The story lines don't all lead back to me. And that's fine."
McConaughey, a big Redskins fan, was scheduled to appear at a team event Wednesday night.
