Redskins DeAngelo Hall hosts draft party, talks career

ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA9) -- The Redskins did not have a first round draft selection, however several players were out in the D.C. area celebrating the draft with fans Thursday night.

Cornerback DeAngelo Hall held a draft night party at the Bracket Room in Arlington and reflected on his career, which is entering year 11.

"When I think about the road I've been on it's been a lot of smiles, some tears but I feel like some wine I think I'm getting better with age," Hall told WUSA9's Dave Owens.

Hall reiterated his excitement for the 2014 season and said he's excited about playing for new Head Coach Jay Gruden.

"When I sat down with him I just fell in love with him personally, fell in love with that coaching staff."

He's also excited about the team's newest star DeSean Jackson.

"When I found out he was on the market I called my agent and asked if it was possible, did we {Redskins} have enough money to get him and from that moment on it was calling Jay, calling RG3 and seeing if this guy would fit in our locker room."
