Playoffs are set: Wizards to play Chicago in 1st round

After all the possible scenarios heading into the final night of the regular season the Eastern Conference seeds are set. With the Charlotte Bobcats defeating the Chicago Bulls in overtime 91-86 it put added pressure on Washington to get the win and avoid the seven seed.

Charlotte's win locked the Toronto Raptors in as the three seed and the Bulls into the fourth. The Wizards were able to take care of business in Boston defeating the Celtics 118-102

The Brooklyn Nets showed no interest in being a five seed tonight, considering they rest their starters and got blown out by the Cleveland Cavaliers 114-85. With the Wizards moving into the five seed they will play the Chicago Bulls in the first round. The last time the Wizards met the Bulls in playoffs was in 2005. The Wizards would go on to win the series in six games. The Wizards and Bulls will have the same seeds as the series in 2005 (Bulls-4th, Wizards- 5th). That is the last time the Wizards have won a playoff series and advanced to the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Here are your first round match ups and game one times.
