Nationals TV announcer talks about historic moments

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) --- When you turn on the Nationals game, you'll hear the familiar voice of Bob Carpenter. He's called Nationals games on TV for 9 years, but Carpenter's baseball broadcasting career actually spans more than three decades. His voice has been the soundtrack of some historic moments.

He talks about those moments with Holden Kusher. See the video above.

Bob's career is much more than just baseball. He's also called college football, baseball and basketball games. In fact, Carpenter serves as the voice of the University of Oklahoma basketball games outside of baseball season.
