#NatsRide: Fans create carshare on Twitter amid Metro problems

Nats fans are coming up with ways to get around for the game.

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - Nats fans have taken to social media and have created a carshare program after Metro announced they will not extend hours for Game 5. 

All you have to do is log onto Twitter and search #natsride, and you will find people who are looking and are willing to give rides home after the Nats playoff game on Thursday night.

As part of the Safetrack program, the last Metro from the stadium area will leave at 11:39 p.m. The game may not be over by then. 

Nats fans say now that Metro is playing hardball and shutting down service before midnight, they are really happy to see other fans pitching in.

"I think it's great people are going to work together to try and get home tonight," said Shavonda Smith.
