BALTIMORE, Md. - The Baltimore Orioles have reached an agreement with pitcher Bud Norris. Industry sources say Norris' one-year deal is worth $5.3 million.
Bud Norris was 4-3 with a 4.80 ERA in 11 appearances with the Orioles. Norris was acquired by Baltimore in a trade with the Houston Astros at the trade deadline.
By reaching an agreement with Norris, the Orioles now have five players who are arbitration eligible. Those who remain arbitration eligible include catcher Matt Wieters and first baseman Chris Davis. Davis was an all-star in 2013 leading the majors in home runs (53) and in RBI (138)
