Gonzaga claims 2014 MAPHL title

LAUREL, Md. (WUSA 9) -- Gonzaga topped Calvert Hall 3-1 on Friday night to finish the season undefeated (26-0-1) and claim its second consecutive Mid-Atlantic Prep Hockey League (MAPHL) title.

"We have a complete team," said head coach Nate Jackson after the victory. "Our goaltender was the best in the game, the best in the area; our forwards could score goals [and] we had senior leaders on defense. It was just a complete team and that's what made it special."

Andrew Hohman, Campus Correspondent for Gonzaga, reported on the game. Watch highlights from the Eagles' victory and interviews with coach Jackson and players Bobby Hally, Barlow Sanders and Joey Downey.
