Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (Sports Network) - Russell Henley defeated B.J.
Staten in the first hole of a playoff on Sunday to win the Jacksonville Open.
Henley, who entered Sunday three shots off Staten's pace, birdied No. 18 to
wrap up a final-round 65 and force a playoff with the overnight leader.
Playing the 18th again, Staten stumbled to a double bogey, allowing Henley to
secure his second Web.com Tour win of the season with a par putt.
Staten carded a 68 on Sunday, as did Ben Martin, who finished two strokes off
the pace at 8-under 272. Aaron Watkins (67) placed fourth at 6-under, while
Kevin Foley (67), Wes Roach (69) and Patrick Cantlay (72) tied for fifth at 5-
under.
