Clemson, SC (Sports Network) - Behind 24 points from Oliver Hanlan, including 21 in the second half, the Boston College Eagles defeated the Clemson Tigers, 68-61, in an Atlantic Coast Conference bout at Littlejohn Coliseum.

For the Eagles (14-16, 6-11 ACC), Ryan Anderson posted a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds and Joe Rahon chipped in with 10 points.

The Tigers (13-16, 5-12) were led by Devlin Booker with 19 points, while Milton Jennings finished with 18 points and Damarcus Harrison tallied 11 points, as Clemson has now lost eight of its last nine games

Clemson took a 29-27 lead into the break by shooting 50 percent from the field. BC was held to just 34.4 percent shooting and 2-of-10 from beyond the 3-point arc in the first half.

After halftime, the Eagles got hot, connecting on 60 percent of their field goal tries. They also outscored Clemson at the free-throw line, 16-5, in the second half. The Tigers managed to make just 39.4 percent of their shots from the field, including missing all but one of their nine tries from 3-point range. Trailing by three midway through the half, the Eagles used a 12-0 run to take a lead that they would never relinquish, as they held on for the road victory.

BC had a 37-32 rebounding advantage on the night but was outscored by Clemson 32-30 in the paint.
