Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Jordan Loveridge scored a career-high 22
points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Utah Utes as they defeated the Wright
State Raiders, 66-54, in the final game of the Utah Thanksgiving Tournament at
Huntsman Center.
Dallin Bachynski tallied 16 points and a pair of blocked shots for Utah (4-1),
while Jarred DuBois recorded 12 points, seven assists, and six rebounds.
For Wright State (4-2), Reggie Arceneaux scored 12 points but on just 5-of-14
from the floor. Matt Vest put up only five points but he dished out six
assists.
Wright State outshot Utah from the floor in the first half, 48 percent to 45
percent, but the Utes took a 30-26 advantage into intermission thanks to a 9-
of-11 showing from the foul line.
Utah improved its field goal percentage to 52.4 after the break and led by as
many as 17 down the stretch.
Wright State was only 1-of-2 from the foul line on the night, and it was
outrebounded by a 34-21 margin.
