(WUSA9) -- While in Denver to play the Broncos, Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon made a special stop to visit a boy with cancer.
Ten-year-old Justin Miller is currently facing childhood cancer for the seventh time. In 2006, doctors gave Justin a 30% chance of being alive in five years. They said if he relapsed, he wouldn't survive. Justin has proved them wrong.
On Saturday, Pierre Garcon visited with Justin as part of the Wahl Head-to-Head Challenge.
Pierre Garcon is going head to head with New York linebacker Mark Herzlich to see who can raise the most money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which funds pediatric cancer research.
The player who raises the most money gets to shave the other guy's head. You can help the cause by going to headtoheadchallenge.com.
