COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) - The Maryland football program intends to make its final season in the Atlantic Coast Conference a memorable one.

Before moving to the Big Ten in 2014, the Terrapins will seek to rebound from a disappointing 4-8 season in which they lost four quarterbacks because of injuries .

Nose tackle Darius Kilgo says, "One thing we're focused on is showing everybody in the ACC what a good team we are."

Maryland hasn't won an ACC title since 2001 and hasn't had a winning record in the league over the past six years. But that hasn't frayed the confidence of coach Randy Edsall, who says, "If we prepare and do the things we're supposed to do, we can be very successful."
