WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- Metro trains will run for an hour longer from Gallery Place and Judiciary Square on Thursday night due to the NCAA East Regional Games at the Verizon Center, say Metro and Verizon Center officials.
Originally, the stations were going to close at midnight as usual but a deal was reached to allow more time for fans to use Metro after the last game.
Officials say fans will be directed to Gallery Place or Judiciary Square stations to get on Metro rail. Metro officials say the entrances to other Metro stations will close at their normal times, but people will be able to leave all of the stations later.
According to officials, customers should make sure they enter no later than 12:50 a.m. to make the last trains.
