Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - LaMarcus Aldridge scored 28 and Damian Lillard
assisted with 24 points as the Trail Blazers came away with a rare road
victory in a 99-89 triumph over the reeling Chicago Bulls on Thursday. After
dropping 14 of its last 16 away from home, Portland earned its 10th road
win of the season by shooting an efficient 10-for-21 from long distance.
Lillard made four of those 3-pointers and finished with seven assists. The
Bulls, losers in six of their last eight, trailed by as many as 28 points
in the third before making the contest look competitive in the fourth. Joakim
Noah provided 18 points and Carlos Boozer contributed a double-double of 16
points and 11 rebounds in the defeat.

seconds as the Denver Nuggets overcame a five-point hole in the last 14
seconds of their 101-100 win over the Philadelphia 76ers to extend their
winning streak to 14 games. Jrue Holiday sunk two free throws to give
Philly a 100-95 edge with 14.3 seconds remaining before Brewer nailed a 3-
pointer with 9.2 ticks on the clock. Evan Turner then missed a pair from
the stripe and Brewer was fouled on a triple by Damien Wilkins with 2.1
seconds left. He proceeded to make all three foul shots. Wilkins missed a
jumper at the buzzer on the other end.

Sacramento, CA (Sports Network) - Isaiah Thomas had 24 points and six assists
in the Sacramento Kings' 101-98 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Tyreke
Evans added 21 points, five rebounds and five assists, while DeMarcus
Cousins finished with 15 points and 14 boards for the Kings, who have won four
of their last six games. Nikola Pekovic tallied 18 points and 12 boards
for Minnesota, which has dropped four of its last five contests.
