WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Finally, March is upon us. It's one of three tantalizing sports months in the calender year -- January and October being the others.
In episode five, Omar and Kevin debate what -- if anything -- the Redskins will do in free agency. Also, is Georgetown a Final Four team? And what makes anyone believe the Terps will be a better team next season.
Omar's main points in Episode 5
1) Free agent cornerback Aqib Talib might be willing to take less money to link back with defensive backs coach Raheem Morris with the Redskins.
2) Maryland head coach Mark Turgeon knew all along his team wouldn't live up to the hype surrounding them.
Kevin's main points in Episode 5
1) The cash strapped Redskins will have nibble on the left over crumbs once late March comes around in free agency.
2) Georgetown has all the right pieces -- and the Player of the Year -- to make a Final Four run.
Editors note: Kevin said that the Redskins don't have a first round pick until 2014. He meant 2015. He also called John Thompson III, John Thompson Jr. Omar called Texans free agent Ryan Harris, Ryan Harrison. Carry On.
Here's the link to episode four, where Kevin bashed the NFL combine and Omar agreed with its merits. Also the Wizards removal of Jordan Crawford was dissected and analyzed from all angles.
Here's the link to episode three, where the Nationals 'World Series or bust' slogan was debated, along with Maryland's Alex Len's NBA Draft status.
Here's a link to episode two, which included Super Bowl talk and a debate about the value of Alex Ovechkin and John Wall.
And in this first ever episode, Kevin correctly predicts Joe Flacco to win the Super Bowl MVP.
Thanks for tuning in.
