Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Ty Lawson showed Chris Paul Thursday that he's a
pretty good floor general too.
Lawson had 21 points and 11 assists in the Denver Nuggets' 107-92 win over
the Los Angeles Clippers.
Lawson did not turn the ball over and Danilo Gallinari added 20 points, five
rebounds and six assists for Denver, which has won seven games in a row. The
Nuggets improved to 27-3 at home, tied for the best mark in the league with
the Miami Heat.
Denver is two games behind Los Angeles in the loss column for the third seed
in the Western Conference.
Andre Iguodala finished with 14 points and seven helpers, Wilson Chandler and
Andre Miller netted 12 points apiece off the bench and Kenneth Faried rounded
out the double-digit scorers with 11 in the triumph.
Blake Griffin poured in 17 points and Paul registered 16 points and 10 assists
for the Clippers, who had won five of their last six tilts coming in.
