RGIII leads the Redskins to 40 points for the first time since 2005 (US Presswire).
ASHBURN, Va. (AP) - Robert Griffin III's running ability has helped make the Washington Redskins the No. 2 rushing team in the NFL.
Rookie running back Alfred Morris ranks fourth in the NFL with 538 yards rushing. Griffin is 15th with 379, easily the top quarterback.
The Redskins have run for at least 125 yards in every game this season, and Griffin and Morris are the NFL's first set of rookie teammates to each have at least five rushing touchdowns in the first six games of a season.
Next comes Griffin's first NFC East game against the New York Giants on Sunday.
