Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Landry Fields scored a game-high 15 points and
Kyle Lowry added 14 points and six assists as the Toronto Raptors edged the
Washington Wizards, 104-101, in a preseason matchup on Wednesday.
Amir Johnson poured in 13 points and Jose Calderon added 12 and eight assists
for the Raptors, who improved to 3-1 in the preseason.
Trevor Booker led the Wizards with 12 points and Martell Webster, Jan Vesely,
Emeka Okafor and Bradley Beal each scored 11 for Washington, which will take
on the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.
Toronto held a 54-49 advantage at the break, but the Wizards outscored the
Raptors, 28-19, in the third quarter to take a 77-73 lead into the final
stanza. Toronto, however, shot 55.6 percent from the field, including 3-of-5
from beyond the arc, in the fourth to sneak by with the win.
