WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Preparation. Determination. Leadership.
Those are just three of the many complimentary adjectives that have been linked to Robert Griffin III during his time in Washington D.C.
But when asked about if he's always been this even-keeled in his preparation for football, Griffin III admitted he had a minor lapse in judgement during his days at Baylor.
"I learned a lesson. I was [focused] all the way through high school and my freshman year of college. My sophomore year I tried to get into [things]...as they say in college 'crunk.' I didn't play well for about three games, doing that, getting
drunk crunk stuff," said Griffin on Wednesday after practice.
"It's just not who I am. I just have to make sure I stay calm and don't worry about what other guys do."
Going back and looking at Griffin's sophomore statistics in 2010, it's hard to pinpoint exactly which games he was hungover for. Luckily for Redskins fans, it sounds like RGIII's boozing days are over -- for now.
