WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- I noticed it a tad during my training camp observations, but now it's become kind of glaring.
Robert Griffin III is a borderline tiny quarterback for the NFL. There, I said it.
Redskins.com lists Griffin at 6-foot-2, 217 pounds -- pretty much the same exact size as Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Quarterbacks who appear smaller on the field have had success in the NFL -- think Steve Young (6-foot-2), Kurt Warner (6-foot-2), Michael Vick (6-foot) and more historically Fran Tarkenton (6-foot).
This blog isn't mean to alarm you. Someone had to point it out to you, though. Carry along.
