WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Doesn't Robert Griffin III almost have a John F. Kennedy feel to him?
Everywhere the Redskins quarterback appears, he shines like an angel on a Christmas Tree. His sheer presence evokes jubilant emotions for Redskins fans, who usually begin screaming his name like 17-year-old female Beatles fans from 1965.
RGIII's latest public appearance came on Wednesday night at FedEx Field, as the Redskins quarterback took in the USA vs. Brazil exhibition soccer game. The Brazilians defeated the Americans 4-1 in front of 67,619 local soccer enthusiasts.
Surprisingly, Griffin III was rocking a Nike USA jersey. Don't get me wrong, I love the look for the athletically-suave 22-year-old. It's just that Adidas sponsors RGIII for an undisclosed amount (probably somewhere close to $40 million). I'd expect Griffin's agent Ben Dogra may get a tongue-lashing from the apparel company.
I hope it was a relaxing night for the Redskins savior, because it's back to work on Thursday. Washington's OTA's will begin at the team facility in Ashburn, Va. at 10:30 AM.
