
WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- A 55-year-old woman was apparently beaten to death in her Northeast home and another woman was found in critical condition at the same address, DC Police reported Sunday.
At about 7 a.m. Sunday, police found Rosa May Fludd-Ross of 35th Street in her home unconscious and suffering from apparent blunt force trauma injuries. D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department personnel responded, but found no signs of life.
The other victim, whose identity is being withheld, was transported to an area hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries and admitted in critical condition.

The Metropolitan Police Department offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in DC.

If the information provided by the caller to the Crime Solvers Unit leads to an arrest and indictment, that caller will be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
