
ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA) -- An overnight accident in Arlington has shut down the southbound lanes of North Glebe Road. Arlington County Police officials tell 9 NEWS NOW a vehicle collided with a power pole around 1:40 Thursday morning on North Glebe Road near Henderson Road. Police say no one was injured in the accident, however the southbound lanes of North Glebe Road are expected to remain closed well into the Thursday morning rush hour. Police officials say the accident has caused power problems in the area. Portable stop signs have been brought in to help control traffic in the area.
