
LAUREL, Md. (WUSA) -- Police have identified a man found in a vehicle in Laurel on Saturday afternoon and are treating the case as a homicide.
Prince George's County Police said that at about 3:41 p.m., officers responded to the 13000 block of Larchdale Road near Contee Road to check on a man in a vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the road.
Officers found Emanuel William Palmer, 28, of the 2300 block of Good Hope Road, Southeast Washington, DC, slumped over the wheel of a black Chevy Suburban suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
