ROCKVILLE, Md. (WUSA) -- Montgomery County health officials have announced the cancellation of major H1N1 flu vaccination clinics at three high schools planned for the next three weeks due to a shortage of vaccine.
Meanwhile, the county is planning to distribute the small amount of vaccine it does have on hand by appointment only to pregnant women on November 4th.
Appointments can be made on Monday, November 2 between 3 and 5 p.m. by calling 240-777-4040. More information is available on the county's website.
The canceled mass vaccination clinics were planned for Rockville High school, Northwest High School and Northwood High school on November 4, 11 and 18.
County official say they have received less than 50% of the vaccine they were anticipating. Clinics will be rescheduled when supplies of vaccine become available.
