WASHINGTON (WUSA) - Police are investigating a double shooting at a place that is meant to be a safe haven for youth in southeast DC.
Officials tell 9NEWS NOW a man and a woman were shot just inside the front door of the Benning Park Recreation Center in the 5100 block of Fitch Street Southeast around 9:25 Wednesday night.
Both victims were taken to a local hospital. The man is reported to be in serious condition and the female victim is stable.
Right now police have information on possible suspects or motive in the shooting.
